Echoworks: In the Silence, Death Finds Its Prey. This is a Top-Down Melee Action-RPG where Vision is a Sound Risk. Step into a world shrouded in eternal darkness, where your eyes are useless and sound is your only chance of survival. Echo-Hunter combines fast, top-down action with a deep stealth mechanic, making every move and attack a critical decision.

The map is completely black. To gain necessary information, you must actively use the Echo Pulse (RMB), which sends a directional cone scan to momentarily mark enemies and geometry. Be warned: the pulse alerts anything in that direction, and it cannot penetrate walls. You can also use scarce Echobombs, which are consumables that create a temporary, larger omnidirectional sonar ping.

The core of the tactical gameplay is the sound system. Every enemy has a unique hearing profile, and your noise level dictates your visibility score. Sneaking (Shift) minimizes sound, while Dashing (Space) generates maximum noise. Be particularly wary of the elite Hunter enemy type who hears your heartbeat and tracks you constantly, regardless of your movement speed.

Combat requires quick, directional decisions due to the Asymmetrical Shield. Your defense is always focused on only one side: you must quickly switch your stance to protect your front or your back. Note that enemies only become fully visible the moment they initiate an attack on you. You progress through specialized upgrade paths to enhance your Echolocation speed and range, power up the Whispering Dagger for silent critical kills, or improve the Witch's Gauntlet to bounce sonic shockwaves off walls for indirect damage and tactical distraction. In Echo-Hunter, silence is your only friend. Listen closely, or die quickly.
